The Advanced Art History Course in aimed at providing more advanced knowledge and writing skills  to students in the discipline of Art History. They are suitable for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Visual Arts or Art History. Ideally you should have some background in Art Theory or History when you enrol for this Short Course.


The content of the workshops has been designed in such a way as to allow students to gain insight into the historical forces, ideas and events that shaped the art of today. The topics have applicability for contemporary thinking and art production. A thematic approach is followed and key subject areas are discussed that cut across arthistorical periods.
